Hi everyone, my name is Indi! I’m a gentle and affectionate girl who wants to find my forever home. I would like it if you were home more often than not, so that you have more time to pat me and play with me and tell me how beautiful I am!

If you aren’t home all the time but you have another dog to keep me company that would be great (pending a meet and greet at our Western Sydney Adoption Facility). I have been a great companion to other greyhounds in my time here, laying inside or hanging out in our backyard. When you go out, I’d like some food based enrichment like a snuffle box, lick mat or kong to keep me busy.

Mozart is my name, composing is my game. You may wonder how I deal with all this fame. It’s easy, I love being the centre of attention and being in the spotlight. So why not adopt me, it could be just right!

Mozart here, ready to bring your life some much needed cheer. I am a gorgeous black boy who loves a good toy and also going for walks, playing in the yard and all the other fun things in life. I am currently in foster care learning some basic manners and how to be a pet! I don’t like to be left alone all day long but can hang out by myself for a few hours at a time if I’m in a quiet area. I have gotten along well with the other big dogs here at the Western Sydney site and living with another big pooch could be alright. I adore my people (almost as much as they adore me) and could spend all day next to you receiving pats and cuddles. I am a big boy with an even bigger heart and can’t wait to be a part of your life.

Age: 3 years 11 months | Sex: Male

B-B-B-Benny here! I may not come with any jets, but I come with a big personality, incredibly good looks and amazing snuggles!

I am a very sweet and cuddly boy who absolutely adores being are humans! If I could spend all day with them that would be the best ever, but if they have to leave for a couple of hours to go and buy me treats then that would be okay, just as long as I have some toys to keep me entertained. Did I mention that I LOVE TOYS?! I love squeaky toys, fluffy toys and bouncy toys! While I do get along with the other greyhounds, I don’t like to share my toys with other pooches so I would prefer a home on my own where I can live in a pile of fluffy toys forever. I enjoy coming inside to spend time with my human friends sometimes but would still like a grassy backyard to play in too. I walk nicely on the lead and enjoy goings for daily strolls. I can be nervous in new or loud environments so I may take some time to build my confidence when out and about. I think I would be happy to spend time with older children, so long as they know not to take my toys from me! I am looking forward to becoming a pet and cannot wait to start this new chapter in my life!

He may be 10 years old, but you would never know it! This fine young gentleman is just about the most good looking hound we’ve seen!

Piwi is a relaxed and gentle spirit suited to those wanting a calm companion. He is ok to live with part-time or casual workers, but would prefer not to be left all alone for much longer. However as he gets on well with other medium/large dogs, full time workers would be fine if he had a canine pal to hang with. Piwi can be a sensitive soul and would prefer relaxed strolls in quieter areas then a power walk through the bustling city streets and is best suited to a home without young kids. He is still learning to enjoy spending time indoors, so a backyard for him to retreat to and enjoy some sunshine is a must.

There are two types of opal: precious and common, and our darling girl is by far the most precious Opal you’ll ever see!

At only 11 months old Opal is still learning the ways of life and would love someone who is patient and willing to help teach her new things. She has come out of her shell a lot since arriving at our site 5 weeks ago and we are loving getting to see her personality shine! She has gotten along well with both our resident small dogs and resident cat here and would suit a home with either of these. She can by shy around new people and loud noises so a home in a quiet area without young children is best. Opal absolutely loves big fluffy toys and treat based enrichment and with these things can settle for a couple of hours on her own. Opal loves being inside and napping on the lounge and would make the perfect snuggly pet.

Known for its stunning architecture, snowcapped mountains and delicious cuisine Vienna is a city not to be missed. And just like her namesake our Vienna is no different. With her luscious blue coat and happy smiling face this petite pooch is a must see.

Vienna is a lovely young lady who is ready to find her forever home. Her favourite pastimes include sprawling along the lounge, going for walks, playing with toys in the yard and spending time with humans. Vienna can be a little bit nervous in new situations and around new people so a home with older, respectful children or adults only would be suitable. She is very loving and affectionate once she gets to know you and would make a great companion. Vienna prefers not to be left home all day long but can entertain herself with toys and treats for a few hours at a time. Vienna gets along with the other greyhounds she has met at our site and loves to play with them. She would be suitable to live with another medium/large breed dog who likes to play sometimes too.

With a true zest for life, you won’t catch Patrick without a smile on his face and a happily wagging tail. Affectionately and aptly known as Pat, this boy spends his time seeking out as many pats as he can from everyone he meets, and being so adorable, it’s not difficult for him!

Patrick loves life –toys, food, any and all attention, walks and lazing around in the sun all make him one happy boy. He would love a home with a backyard to chase around his toys and do his zoomies in. We feel that Patrick would love the company of older kids and a home where he is by himself for around 3-5 hours would be ideal. Being such a social guy, Patrick might also be happy to share his life with another canine friend pending a meet and greet.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. On behalf of the GAP crew, we would like to thank you for choosing Qantas and we welcome you onboard to the flight of your life.

Although we expect a generally smooth flight, put on your seatbelts as we approach some turbulence caused by Qantas’s thunderous zoomies! Qantas doesn't mind flying solo, so he won't need a canine co-pilot in his crew. Qantas would be suitable for those who are away part-time however would be able to be worked up to longer periods easily. He requires a home on the quieter side without tiny human passengers and a backyard he can use as an emergency exit. Opaque fencing would be best as he does like to say hello to those passing by.

But sadly, Itchy doesn’t yet have her Scratchy! Could you be that one to scratch her back and be by her side forever and always? We promise this relationship will be a loving one!

Say hello to the delightful bubbly refreshment that is our girl Cola!

Cola is a very gentle and affectionate girl who has definitely won the hearts of the GAP staff (and indeed every person she meets!). Cola loves nothing more than spending time with her humans and getting as many pats and as much attention as she possibly can – she just can’t get enough! Despite this, Cola is also happy to spend some time to herself during the day and is suitable for families that work part-time or full time. Older, respectful children are ok by Cola, although she is more of a relaxed companion than a playful pal for the kids. She is hoping her new paw-rents would like her to spend time indoors with them as she has become quite fond of the couch. In fact, provided someone is around more often to let her out the stretch her legs she would happily live in a unit or apartment.

Just look into those big brown eyes and you will fall in love!

Introducing Tiny Tessa! This adorable little creature has been living in foster care with another greyhound pal for a couple of weeks now and has settled in very well! She loves to lounge around the house with her greyhound foster brother, loves a quiet stroll where she gets time to sniff everything and has been doing acing her toilet training.

Tessa is a calm and happy girl who is suitable for those who work part time or casual hours, but would be fine to be left at home for longer hours if she had another medium/large canine companion. Tessa loves being indoors and if her humans were home more often to take her out, she would be happy to live in a unit/apartment. Older kids would be okay provided they are able to give her space when she needs it she does love a bit of daily me-time!

Age: 3 years 6 months | Sex: Female

Introducing the cool and refreshing Sprite! This bubbly girl is currently in foster care awaiting her forever home.

Sprite is a very friendly girl with both humans and dogs alike! She is happy to share her new home with another dog large or small and has even been living with a cat in foster care! If you have another dog for her to spend her days with, she is suitable for those who work longer hours, however if she is to be the only dog she will need someone home more often than not. Sprite walks beautifully on lead and would happily join you for a daily stroll, however she prefers her walks short and sweet. Older kids would be okay provided they are able to give her space when she needs it. Sprite prefers the indoors and wouldn’t turn her nose up at apartment living as long as there aren’t too many stairs to tackle every day.

Tall. Blonde. Handsome. What more could you want!? Our Bundy has been spending some time in foster care mastering pet life and is now ready for his forever home!

Bundy can be a little shy with new people at first, but when he feels comfortable he is a very affectionate and cuddly boy who would love someone to spoil and love him everyday. He would prefer to have some human and/or canine company during the day and is happy to live with another dog pal of any size pending a meet and greet. He loves spending time indoors and has been fully toilet trained, so he is hoping his new parents want him to hang out with them and join in the family activities. Bundy loves his walkies and while he has made fantastic progress becoming more confident in noisier areas in foster care, starting off with short walks in quiet areas will benefit him greatly.
