No need to go and build your own, we have yours ready and waiting here! Your very own perfect BEAR!!
We have asked Bear if he could build his own home, what would he include? He has included his own list of BEAR essentials for you.
This scrumptious love bug is ready and waiting to find his new home after being in a foster home for many months. He is completely pet ready and in short this Buddy in a nutshell from his foster home notes. “Overall: Buddy is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to love you”
Here are some of his likes……
Tall, steely blue and incredibly handsome… this boy is quite the catch. Meet Fetch- this young man is full of beans, a loving boy and is currently looking for his forever home!
Fetch is a playful boy who needs a home with a large yard for him to spend the day exploring and relaxing in. He can be nervous in new environments so a quiet area without too many external distractions would help him to make the transition into pet life a lot easier. Fetch loves to, well, play fetch! He was named this due to his love of toys and boy does he love them! He gets very excited whenever we give him a new toy, especially if it’s a squeaky one! Fetch would benefit from having owners with previous experience in owning large breed dogs, greyhounds would be even more ideal! It will take some patience to allow Fetch to settle into his new home but it will be well worth it once his sweet and cuddly side comes out. Fetch can settle on his own for a couple of hours at a time and would be suitable for people who are home for most of the day. He has gotten along well with the other greyhounds he has met and having a friend to spend the day with helps him settle for longer hours. Fetch is a very special boy who we love dearly and think you will too! He is a very lovely boy who will thrive in the right home.
Introducing the savory delight that is Chicken Crimpy! At just 2-years-old and with his handsome red fawn coat, we know our Crimpy is a catch.
Just like the tasty lunchbox snack for which he is named, Chicken Crimpy is just what everyone is craving! This handsome hound is a super affectionate and sweet boy, best known for leaning on his humans or circling you like a snake asking for pats! Crimpy is friendly and polite towards other medium/large breed dogs and would be more than happy to share his new home you already have one in the family. If he is to be a single dog, Crimpy is suitable to those who work part-time/casual hours, however if you live in a quiet neighborhood he would be fine to be left alone a little longer. Crimpy will always make you feel welcome and loved when you get home with his very waggy tail! He will gladly accompany you on an afternoon walk and although he can be excited to get going, he walks well on his harness. Older kids are fine by Crimpy, as long as they can give him space when he needs it.
Blossom has the most gentle and beautiful personality. A calm and graceful girl who is incredibly friendly and just want to be snuggled up on your couch.
She will be the most amazing addition to the lucky family who adopts her!
Buddy would just LOVE to be your buddy. This happy boy is so excited to meet his new family! Buddy loves going for his walks, playing in the back yard and spending time with his hoomans!
Buddy is a pretty easy going boy and would make a great addition to the right family. He would love to spend time with you but is also ok, if you need to do that 'go to work' thing he's heard people talk about... as long as you buy him treats... :)
Brutus is a mans man! This strapping boy will be best suited to an experienced owner who is happy to spend one on one time with him. Brutus is happy around his people but is a little bit unsure around other dogs so would require slow introductions to any potential friends and would prefer to be your one and only fur friend at home.
Brutus is very calm and enjoys having a snooze in the sun shine, walks on the beach and in local parks.
Don't let the name fool you, Tiny may be called Tiny, but she's got a big personality! This lovely girl will need a fully fenced yard to keep her safe and a warm comfy bed for snuggling in.
Tiny is incredibly affectionate and loves to go on sniffari's especially at the beach. She would love to spend all her time with you but will also happily wait for you to come home from work for some one on one time.
Katie’s my name and snuggling is my game! I’m guaranteed to be the biggest sweetie you’ve ever met. I’m a cuddle bug looking for my forever home.
I’m a very gentle and friendly girl, I like to lean on people for pats and I’ve been told I give the best cuddles. I would suit a family who are home most of the time so I can lap up all of the attention I deserve.
Daisy Duke is a beautiful soulful 2 year old girl who is looking for a family with older teens or a retired couple looking to add a friend. She can be a tad shy to start with, however, give her a few days and she is a happy friendly outgoing girl with a playful side that will make you smile. She is a dream dog with a kind nature that just wants to be a part of your life but is okay if your not home all the time either.
Daisy Duke needs a full sized yard so no units or townhouses please and is not suited to a “dog park” lifestyle. Just walks out are fine for her where she can just be with you to explore the wonderful world out there. She is located in Nowra and will need an in person meet.
Hi, I’m Buddy! As my name suggests I’m ready to be your best buddy. I’m a gentle, friendly and smooch boy looking for my forever home. I’m confident with being patted, and I’m basically a big ol’ teddy bear ready to accompany you through thick and thin!
My ideal home would be a family where someone is home all the time to keep me company. Your fences will need to be opaque and I’d rather live in a quiet neighbourhood.
Hi everyone, I’m as sweet as a honey drizzled crumpet, and ready to accompany you through your your future brunches and breakfasts. I think I’ll definitely be the sweetest part of your day.
I am a lovely lady looking for my forever home. I’m gentle, affectionate, cuddly, and kind to everyone I meet. I have been a polite lady with other greyhound friends in our backyard. I’ve also been polite with the small dogs I’ve met here at the Adoption Facility. I’d prefer if they were calm and well-mannered as I prefer to chill out with my canine companions.
Did someone say PAR-TAY! Well if you did then you have to meet what can only be called the life of the Par-tay and that is Tara. She is no wall flower and is perfect in a family unit of older kids who want that ideal family pet to join them. She will settle after all of the excitement of the day much like the kids and has a lovely off switch when that happens. Sort of like the best of both worlds and would benefit from either a big play in the yard or a daily walk.
Being active she will need a full sized yard and is located in Leppington in Western Sydney.
With his happy and affectionate personality and those incredible ears with a mind of their own, this handsome fella is the whole package!
Dukie is a super friendly and happy boy who will bring joy and laughter to your home! He has a playful side and loves to chase his favourite squeaky toys, but after a few throws he is ready for some pats and affection or maybe a nap. He loves his humans so much that he would prefer not to be left alone all day, so a home where someone is home more often than not are best suited. However, if you have another medium/large dog at home for him to hang out with, full-time workers would be just fine by Dukie! Kids who are older or experienced enough to handle Dukie’s excitable nature would definitely enjoy his goofy side. Dukie loves spending time indoors with his family and promises to be well behaved in the house if he is allowed in for some quality time! Dukie loves his food and his walkies and has even mastered the stairs.
WATER HOUND ALERT!!! Miss Daisy is an independent gal who is not an in your pocket type chick. She knows what she wants and is happy within her own skin. She is affectionate and loves a pat, then is more than happy to head off and play with her ball or hop in her pool and LOVES the beach and rivers. She does enjoy a regular walk so she can see what's happening in her hood.
Perfect for a working couple or casual workers, Miss Daisy will easily entertain herself in the day and then be happy to see you when you get home to share the remote. She has been inside a home and can verify that she fits nicely on the lounge.
Our little Beanie boy!
Beans is our smallest male greyhound we have in care at the moment but he shines just as large as everyone else! He has really grown in confidence since first arriving and progressing more and more each day.
Well hello handsome! Young, big, and handsome - the perfect package, Dave is a lovely all round lad which is quite rare for someone so young (a wee 18 month). While he is still a puppy in some of the things he does, he is the complete package in everything else. Having already been in a foster home, he has the home thing down pat now and is ready for his own family to
share his life with that is full of fun and love
Meet the exuberant Di Di! This gorgeous young lady is full of life and would love to join you on life’s many adventures.
Di Di is very affectionate and loves a good scratch behind the ears. Her favourite thing in the world is toys and she can often be seen running around with one in her mouth! She has a lot of energy and would benefit from a backyard and daily enrichment including walks. She can be strong on the lead however is now used to wearing a harness which helps greatly when taking her out for one of her beloved walks. Di Di enjoys coming inside and lying on the lounge when her family is home however would need a backyard to spend the day in and give her room for her zoomies she is so fond of. She can settle on her own for only a couple of hours so would be suitable for a family who work from home. Alternatively she can settle better with a friend and would be able to be alone for longer hours if she had a canine friend to hang out with. Di Di has gotten along well with the other greyhounds she has met and would be suitable for a home with another large breed dog. Due to her larger than life personality she would be suitable for a family with older (and taller) children or children who have a good amount of experience with large breed dogs. Di Di is a fun young girl who would love someone to give her the time and space to let her personality shine.
Hey!! Heyyyy!!!! My names Chuck and I am the gentlest of big boys.
I love to do big stretches in the morning (a bit of light yoga) and I have a deep appreciation for your couch and all the pats you can give me.
And now, live from Western Sydney, it’s GREYSON DERULO!!
“In my head, I see you adopting me! In my head, you’ll fulfil my fantasy (of becoming a pet!)”
