Like my name my personality is gold. I am very friendly and love to have a chat. I would be happy chillin' by myself or hanging with my mates. I love toys and am very outgoing.
I am looking for a new best friend and if you think you might be the one make sure you contact the girls, being the stud that I am I won’t be around for long.
Hi, my name is Buddy, it’s a common name I know but it was what I was given and I love it. I am a very friendly boy who loves to go for a walk and given the opportunity I would love a run as well. I have an Australian Cattle dog pup as my best friend and would be happy with another large breed friend or on my own. If you would like to meet me please have your people contact my people ;)
Gary is ready to retire with his new family. He is described as a quiet boy who is happy to lay in the sun on the grass. Gary is looking for a family who will take him on outings and play games in the back yard. He would be suited to a family with children 5 and over. At around 36kg I am a bigger boy but very gentle
Looking for a no-frills friendly girl? Lucy might just fit the bill. On one hand, there is nothing overly outstanding about Lucy, but on the other hand, everything about her is perfect for this very reason. She is young, friendly, will talk to anyone and everyone and just enjoys life. She does get a bit excited when the lead comes out but will settle down into her walk with you to explore the hood and being a young dog so much is still new and exciting so her new home needs to understand that.
While she has not been around children, she would be great for a home with older kids who are calm and respectful - and who are up for the odd game in the backyard of course. Lucy is located in Goulburn and would be the perfect only dog looking for the perfect only home to explore this wonderful life ahead of her and will pay you back ten fold. She does needs a full-sized backyard so not suitable for units or townhouses.
Ello amigos! Are you looking for a dashing lad that doubles up as a goofball to join your fam bam? Pedro may well be just what your after. He does love the start of the day where he is very happy to greet you ( and the morning) but will settle down to being a laid back type of guy ready to siesta the rest of the day.
For this reason, he is not suited to a home with children but respectful older teens would be okay. The head of the house will need to have greyhound experience as Pedro can be a little strong on the lead. He has not been tested with other dogs besides greyhounds but is fine with the sheep at his current home while on lead. Pedro needs a full-sized yard so no units or townhouses please
Looking for a pocket pet or should we say a pet that is in your pocket? Then Tommy might be just right for you. He has found that he really enjoys retired life and is working a little too hard at being your sidekick.
Tommy would be best suited to a single dog household with empty nesters, a retired person or couple looking for some company with this young lad. He would also be a good fit for a working couple if you are willing to invest time to help him get used to being on his own.
If you have been looking for a sweet friendly girl to share your days with then Lilly might be just the gal for you. Lilly is a joy to have around and really won't mind to much if she gets out for a walk every few days, as long as she can be a fully-fledged family member life is all good!
She would like to hang with older teen kids that are quiet, calm and respectful, however, Ideally, she is suited to a retired person or couple looking for some company where the only game she has to play is who gets the remote control first ( as we all know she who holds the remote controls what we all watch). She may pull on the lead initially on her walks so a mobile retired couple would suit her. She would also suit a working couple if you were to invest some time to teach her that being on her own is okay and she will be coming straight from kennels so would need some patience ins showing her the big world is a great place to be.
Handsome, stylish and a whole lot of fun – this Ken may not be made of plastic but there’s no denying that he’s fantastic!
2-year-old Ken loves to play with his toys (he has a special love for tennis balls in particular) and would benefit from having a spacious backyard to frolic in. He thoroughly enjoys his walkies and although he can be excited at first, once he finds his stride he walks beautifully on loose leash. Ken’s enthusiasm and joy for life makes him best suited living with teens and up. Don’t get the wrong idea though, this sweet boy is also known for standing quietly next to you for as many pats as he can get or leaning in to you when the ear scratches are on point!
This winter things have been a bit nippy, so why not get a Nippy for yourself before winter is over! Despite his name, Nippy prefers to keep his pearly whites to himself, he prefers some yummy treats on his chops more than anything! At just over 2.5yo, Nippy is quite a relaxed boy. He has shown to cope well for moderate periods on his own an also doesn’t mind sharing his yard with some doggy company. Nippy is showing to have lovely and appropriate manners with small and larger dogs and also walks well on the lead. We feel Nippy would enjoy a home with someone home more often than not or with a canine companion for those longer, full-time hours. As he is quite gentle in his manner, we believe Nippy could fit in a household with respectful children.
Nippy is available now on a foster to adopt basis.
