Velvet is a little like a delicate thread at first—timid and unsure when faced with new surroundings—but when paired with the right companion (preferably another greyhound or medium to large dog), her confidence begins to weave itself into something beautiful. She takes cues from her canine friend and finds strength in their bond, slowly stitching herself into the fabric of her home life.
She’s best suited to a calm, cozy environment, where she can be gently hemmed in love and patience. Her ideal family will understand that building trust takes time—but the reward is a truly heartwarming connection, as soft and strong as your favorite well-worn sweater.
