Cats, dogs, you name it, Velma is a beautiful soul, gentle with all she meets. Velma is laid back, friendly and affectionate with people. She is polite with dogs & even cats! She is an unbothered girl looking for a quiet home to take naps in.
She would love a home with another calm dog/s or cats. She gets along fantastically with other greyhounds here and we think her laid back nature would see her settle in well in a respectful multi-dog household.
She would be fine in a ground floor unit (no stairs) with a small outdoor space for her, but of course would love to nap in the sun if she had a yard. Quiet natured children would enjoy her friendly nature.
We are enjoying her snoozing the day away in our office and gently asking for pats when she wanders around during the day.
She would do best in a quiet home with lots of comfy beds, and of course, treats galore.
