You could easily be forgiven for thinking this boy’s name was Sookie! With his beautiful glossy coat and at only 1 year old, Sooty is still figuring out the world and is looking for a new family to show him all the perks of pet life.

When you meet this sweet boy, he will greet you with plenty of kisses, his tail won’t stop wagging and it won’t be long before he starts doing zoomies. Sooty is still figuring out what toys and treats are, but likes to chase after his toys and is starting to pick them up and after a bit of investigation he generally enjoys his treats too. After he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, Sooty loves nothing more than to hang out with you and he absolutely melts when he gets a good neck scratch.

Being a young boy, Sooty is full of enthusiasm and can be excitable. He is looking for a home with a big backyard, older children and potentially another medium/large canine friend pending a meet and greet. Sooty copes quite well on his own for 3-5 hour periods, but would be happiest if his new family could be around more often than not as his favourite thing is his humans.

Sooty has a previous injury to his back right leg, but this doesn’t slow him down at all.

If you think Sooty might be the perfect new addition to your family, don’t hesitate to contact our Wyee facility!
